Chief Observer of the European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) Zeljana Zovko reported that the mission's observers have rated the opening of polling stations they visited as "very good and good." The overall atmosphere was described as "comfortable," with the majority of polling stations adhering to legal procedures, including opening on time and providing the necessary voting materials. The European Union Election Observation Mission deployed 120 observers across 51 polling stations throughout Jordan's governorates on Tuesday to monitor the electoral process. These observers are tasked with overseeing the closing, vote counting, and assembly procedures, according to Zovko, who spoke at a press conference held at Queen Rania School in Amman. Zovko noted that it is too early to deliver a full assessment as the voting is still ongoing, and the counting has not yet begun. However, she highlighted that EU observers are visiting polling stations in urban, rural, and desert areas and collecting feedb ack from voters throughout the day. The European Union Election Observation Mission will release a preliminary statement on Thursday, covering various aspects of the electoral process, including the legal framework, electoral campaigns, media coverage, social media activity, and the participation of women and youth.
