Jerusalem - Ma'an - Demolition operations continue in the city of Jerusalem, and today two demolition operations were carried out in the towns of At-Tur and Silwan, under the pretext of building without a permit. In the town of At-Tur, the occupation municipality crews, accompanied by large numbers of special forces and police, stormed the town, surrounded a residential building after closing the roads leading to it, and then began demolishing the "zinc roof" of the top floor, under the pretext of building without a permit. The Abu Sbitan family explained that this is the third time the building has been stormed and the demolition carried out, noting that they are putting up zinc sheets (the roof) to protect the lower floor from rainwater. On the other hand, the occupation municipality forced the young man, Musa Salama, to demolish his house with his own hands, in the town of Silwan. Salama was forced to carry out the demolition to avoid paying financial fines ('building demolition fees') to the municipal ity, its crews, its machinery, and the accompanying forces. The forces stormed the area surrounding the demolition site and monitored it. Source: Maan News Agency
