The Turkish Presidency's Communications Department said in a statement on Monday evening that the two leaders also discussed the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip during their phone call. Erdogan stressed the need for "the Islamic world to intensify its efforts to stop the brutal attacks committed by Israel and punish it for its crimes against humanity."
