A meeting in Hajjah province discussed today,Sunday, the mechanism for implementing community initiatives to eliminate sources of mosquito breeding in the districts. The meeting, which included the directors of the province's health office, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kahlani, the relevant departments, program coordinators, and pivotal supervisors, reviewed the plan for implementing initiatives to limit the spread of mosquitoes that transmit diseases and epidemics. He touched on the role of local councils and community committees in supporting the efforts of health workers and community health volunteers, malaria and health education to ensure the success of the initiatives. The director of the province's health office pointed out the importance of coordinating efforts in following up on the mechanism for implementing initiatives in all districts, and supporting the efforts of the health office to ensure the elimination of the sources of mosquitoes that transmit malaria and dengue fever.
