Taiz Acting Governor , Ahmed Al-Masawa, discussed on Tuesday with the International Committee of the Red Cross team, headed by the Director of the Committee's office in Ibb province, Ahmed Ishaq Zai, the Committee's activities in water and sanitation field in the province. In the meeting, Al-Masawa stressed the keenness to cooperate with the International Committee in a way that contributes to enhancing the benefit from the activities and projects it is implementing, pointing to the province's needs for water and sanitation projects and the rehabilitation of its networks to alleviate the suffering of citizens. While the director of Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs branch in Taiz, Osama Al-Qatabri, the local water and sanitation institution director , Muhammad Ibrahim, and the rural water director , Ali Al-Sharjabi, reviewed the priority projects in the water and sanitation sector. In turn, the head of the team stressed the keenness to coordinate with partners to implement interventions in a number of sectors in accordance with the priority needs.
