Discussing coordination between Tax Authority and Capital Municipality in collecting revenues

An expanded meeting chaired today, Wednesday, by the head of the Tax Authority, Abdul-Jabbar Ahmed Muhammad, and the mayor of the capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, discussed cooperation in the field of collecting tax revenues. The meeting touched on the efforts undertaken by the Authority to collect taxes on real estate revenues, professions, employment earnings, and qat sales, through which development and service projects in the capital secretariat are financed. He reviewed the aspects of coordination between the Authority and the Municipality of the Capital regarding the tax revenues of the real estate and qat units, which are collected electronically in accordance with the laws regulating that. For his part, the Mayor of the Capital praised the progress witnessed by the Authority through the completed projects, which contributed to consolidating the participatory relationship with financial and businessmen in the Municipality of the Capital.
