A meeting in Sana'a on Monday, headed by the Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water, Dr. Ali Saif Hassan, discussed aspects of cooperation and partnership between the Ministry and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to support the water sector during the next phase. The meeting, which included Deputy Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water, Adel Saleh Bader, Program Advisor at the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), Dr. Khaldoun Salem Saleh, Director of the Urban Cities Project, Mohammed Al-Shami, National Coordinator of the Water Cluster, Eng. Tawfiq Al-Haroush, and Deputy Director of the Urban Cities Project at the UNOPS Office, Abdul Wahab Salah, addressed UNOPS's future interventions in implementing and expanding solar energy projects, ensuring the safe withdrawal of diesel, which is supplied to local water and sanitation institutions.
