Death Toll in Gaza Strip Reaches 45,541 Amid Continued Israeli Military Actions

GAZA CITY: The death toll in the Gaza Strip has surged to 45,541, with over 108,338 people injured amidst ongoing Israeli military actions. In the past 24 hours alone, Israeli forces have carried out three massacres that resulted in the deaths of at least 27 Palestinians and left 149 others injured, according to medical reports.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local health authorities have confirmed the significant increase in casualties since the Israeli onslaught began on October 7, 2023. Women and children comprise the majority of the victims in this conflict. Emergency services face significant challenges in reaching many of the injured and deceased, who remain trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads throughout the war-torn enclave. Israeli forces reportedly continue to obstruct the movement of ambulances and civil defense crews, complicating rescue efforts.

Despite international pleas, Israel's military actions continue, ignoring calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire. Additionally, directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and address the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza have not been heeded.
