Culture, Tourism Minister discusses revitalization of Yemeni tourism sector

Dr. Ali al-Yafei, Yemen's Minister of Culture and Tourism, met with acting chairman of the Yemeni Tourism Union Mohammed Bazaa and members of the Unions Tourism Committee. The meeting focused on strategies to revitalize Yemen's tourism sector, which has been severely impacted by ongoing aggression and a blockade. Dr. Al-Yafei emphasized the need for enhanced coordination between the ministry and the Federation to overcome challenges and promote development in the tourism sector. The discussion also covered the Union's previous efforts in tourism promotion and the significant losses endured due to the current crisis. The meeting concluded with an agreement to develop joint plans to restore and advance the tourism sector, improve infrastructure, and foster innovation, with a particular focus on supporting resilient travel agencies.
