Concluding training program in pharmacological interventions field in Sana’a

A training program in pharmacological interventions field, organized by Al-Razi University in cooperation with the Skills Development Fund, concluded today,Thursday, in Sana'a. The two-week program aimed to enhance the knowledge of 48 nurses and pharmacists from the Siblas Hospital staff about drug interventions, their risks , types, methods for detecting , evaluating drug interventions using scientific references, and interactions between medicine and food. In conclusion, the Executive Director of the Skills Development Fund, Ali Al Qasimi, explained that training program came within the framework of the Fund's plan to meet the training needs of the Fund's shareholders. He stressed the Fund's keenness to finance such important awareness programs that contribute to the human development process for health personnel. For his part, the President of Al-Razi University, Dr. Khalil Al-Wajeeh, explained that building humanity is the true investment and the only guarantor of the country's bright future. He str essed the university's keenness to improve the higher educational process in it, including the outputs of scientific research and graduate studies, which would effectively contribute to the process of developing the educational process and serving society. At the conclusion, which was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Siblas Hospital, Dr. Tariq Al-Nahmi, the Director General of the Hospital, Yahya Al-Murtada, praised the efforts of the Skills Development Fund and Al-Razi University in developing the capabilities of hospital staff in pharmaceutical interventions field. He urged the participants in the training program to apply the skills and knowledge they received in their practical reality. In turn, the Director General of Studies and Program Planning at Development Fund Skills , Abdullah Zahra, stressed the importance of the partnership with Al-Razi University and Siblas Hospital with the aim of establishing qualitative scientific and practical training programs that benefit the staff working in the hospital in accordance with the latest scientific developments. A speech was given to the participants by Iman Al-Nuwaira, who pointed out the importance of the training program in enabling them to take the appropriate medication prescription, ensure the safety of patients, and choose appropriate decisions with the doctor, leading to a treatment plan that ensures the effectiveness of the medication and the safety of patients.
