SALFIT: Israeli colonists vandalized olive trees today in the village of Deir Istiya, in the occupied West Bank province of Salfit, according to local sources. The sources informed WAFA that colonists from the Yakir outpost, which is illegally built on Palestinian land north of Salfit, destroyed approximately 12 olive trees in the Khallat Al-Najjara area, west of Deir Istiya. The trees belong to local resident Musleh Youssef Mansour. Earlier, around 20 olive trees belonging to Mansour have been also vandalized by colonists. This latest incident is part of a broader pattern of attacks on Palestinian agricultural land by state-sponsored Israeli colonists. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
