Nablus: Colonists cut down approximately 50 olive saplings and stole construction equipment from land belonging to the town of Beit Ummar, north of Nablus, early Wednesday morning.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Tariq Fakhoury, one of the landowners, stated that the colonists stole equipment, bags of cement, and tiles from inside the building he was finishing on his land in Beit Ummar. They also cut down about 50 olive saplings belonging to his cousin, Murad Fakhoury.
Fakhoury added that this was the third instance of such attacks in the area by colonists, with previous incidents involving theft of equipment and destruction of olive trees.
