Riyadh, HE Chairperson of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RRA), Engineer Khaled bin Ahmed Al Obaidli, met Sunday with HE CEO of the General Real Estate Authority in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al Hammad. The meeting discussed avenues of cooperation between the two countries and enhance the real estate sector, learn about the General Real Estate Authority's experience in Saudi Arabia in the regulation and governance of real estate sector, through its regulatory legislations. Additionally, they discussed opportunities for cooperation to advance real estate market between the two countries. Engineer Khaled bin Ahmed Al Obaidli highlighted a range of initiatives RRA has launched to reinforce real estate sector, advance legislative structure to regulate and stimulate the sector, in addition to supporting the private sector's engagement in promoting real estate investment in the country within the efforts devoted to diversifying the national economy in alignment with the third National Development Strategys goals. At the conclusion of the meeting, the two sides agreed to bolster the real estate sectors capability in both countries to achieve competitiveness and attractiveness, in addition to fostering cooperative opportunities and bilateral vision in the area of real estate sector.
