Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani confirmed that Al-Farah Schools students are covered by psychological care and attention, and he appreciates the religious and social initiatives supporting the orphans. A statement from his office stated: "Al-Sudani, via a television circuit, today, Monday, inaugurated 3 schools in Baghdad and Maysan, as part of the inaguration of 25 schools for Al-Farah Model Schools Project for Orphans throughout Iraq. Al-Sudani blessed the inaguration of Al-Farah Model Schools, which were allocated for orphans, in an important step that reflects the government's care in the education sector, appreciating the efforts made to complete this project. He stressed the government's keenness to target vulnerable groups that faced and were exposed to difficult circumstances, stressing: "The legal, moral and national responsibility requires attention to the families of martyrs." The Prime Minister indicated that work is continuing to complete all 1,000 schools, within the Iraqi-Chinese sch ools project, noting that 20-25 schools have been allocated as a first phase, called Al-Farah Model Schools for orphans, and will provide them with all the reasons for care, and they target all orphans in all governorates of Iraq. Al-Sudani explained that all students in Al-Farah schools will be included in the cash assistance, directing the administrations to communicate with the Social Protection Department to ensure that the cash assistance is disbursed to the students, and to emphasize the presence of a social and psychological researcher, due to the dire circumstances that these students have been exposed to, indicating that there is coordination with UNICEF in the field of programs for psychological support for students. He also pointed out that the completion of schools that care for the orphans was the focus of religious and social institutions and figures, and the government encourages this trend, because it enshrines the concept of social solidarity. The Prime Minister had directed the formation of Al-Farah Model Schools to embrace orphaned children, where a school building is chosen from the schools of the Education Directorates, or from the new construction schools, and special care and psychological support are provided to them, and they are included in the school uniform and provided with transportation, school meals and a financial grant, according to what is stipulated in the financial grants for public school students.
