The Board of Directors of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in the Capital Secretariat discussed on Wednesday in its meeting , headed by the Secretary of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, the progress of performance and work carried out during the past period. The meeting, attended by a number of members of the Board of Directors and the Director of the Corporation, Eng. Muhammad Mada'is, reviewed the final account report for the year 1445 AH, and what it included in terms of financial and service performance indicators, as well as the Corporation's vision and plan for the year 1446 AH. The meeting discussed the recommendations of the Parliament regarding rural water development fees, and the approval to cancel them for violating those recommendations and the decision of the Water Corporation's Board of Directors. They listened to an explanation from the Director of the Corporation, Mada'is, about the great efforts made by the Water Corporation and its regions in the directorates , field teams in im plementing emergency works and repairs to the sewage network lines damaged by floods and rainwater. In the meeting, the Secretary of the Capital stressed the importance of intensifying efforts and mobilizing all the institution's equipment to contribute to implementing emergency work and interventions to address the damage caused by floods and rainwater in the various directorates of the capital, and to provide services to citizens.
