Jericho: Colonists continued on Thursday to pave a colonial road northwest of the Arab al-Malihat community, west of the city of Jericho.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of Al-Baidar organization for the defense of Bedouin rights, explained that the colonists placed "bascours" on the road they paved to reach the colonial outpost of Zohar, which is adjacent to Arab al-Malihat on the main street.
He further added that this colonial road will exacerbate the suffering of the citizens in Arab al-Malihat, increasing the likelihood of tension and confrontations with the colonists.
Malihat emphasized that this development indicates the confiscation of more lands, noting that the occupation forces recently seized land in the same area by military decision for the purpose of colonists' grazing.
Arab al-Malihat and other Bedouin communities are facing a series of harassments aimed at imposing a new colonial reality on the ground.
