The Office of Industry and Trade in Hodeida province has launched a field monitoring campaign on prices and the food supply situation to protect consumers, especially during the month of Ramadan. Province affairs undersecretary in Hodeida city Ali al-Kabari was briefed on the performance of the oversight teams and committees affiliated with the Office of Industry, and the level of implementation of the tasks assigned to them to maintain commodity and supply stability and arrest violators. He heard from industry office director in the province Saleh Mohammed an explanation about the mechanism and plan of supervisory work, the distribution of committees to markets, sales outlets and commercial malls, and the level of coordination between the office and the Chamber of Commerce for price control. Undersecretary al-Kabbari also listened to an explanation about the work carried out by the control teams since the beginning of the month of Ramadan in controlling commercial violations and daily monitoring of the ma rkets in translation of the directives of the Ministry of Industry and the local authority in the province.
