Sheikh Hasina and her sister and Awami League leader Sheikh Rehana left Bangladesh as Chief of general staff of Bangladesh Army Waker-Uz-Zaman is expected to address the nation Monday amid growing crisis unfolding in the country, said a media source Monday. Bangladeshi news portal Prothom Alo said that Army Chief Waker-Uz-Zaman met different political party leaders and civil society members as he is planning to address the nation at 3:00 pm Local Time. The army also asked the people to adhere to the prohibitory orders imposed across the country since yesterday evening.
