Baghdad Operations Command forces tightened their grip on a suspect in "kidnapping crimes" in one of the Karkh areas. Baghdad Operations Command stated in a statement that with a distinguished intelligence effort by the Anti-Kidnapping Cell in the Intelligence and Security Department of the Baghdad Operations Command, and field follow-up to implement arrest warrants issued by the Iraqi judiciary against those accused of kidnapping crimes, it was able, with the support of the command's reconnaissance battalion detachments, to arrest a suspect wanted under Article (421/kidnapping crimes) after monitoring his presence and movements within one of the Karkh areas and a tight ambush was set for him. He was arrested and handed over to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures against him. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
