The Baghdad Crime Control Directorate detachments arrested two suspects riding a motorcycle for stealing women's bags. The Directorate stated in a statement: The Baghdad Crime Control Directorate detachments within Al-Quds Office for Combating Crime arrested two suspects riding a motorcycle for stealing women's bags in areas east of the capital, Baghdad, on the Rusafa side. It explained that the arrest came during security practices implemented by the directorate, which included deploying detachments and patrols to establish security, check wanted persons and vehicles, and monitor suspects, as the practices resulted in the arrest of several people wanted in various criminal cases, and legal measures were taken against the arrested suspects and brought them to justice to receive their just punishment in accordance with the law.
