BERUIT: The Lebanese Disaster Management Unit announced that the number of civilians killed on the Israeli`s ongoing raids on Lebanon since October 8 has surged to 1,873 fatalities and 9,134 casualties. It added: "The number of displaced persons from areas exposed to Israeli aggression has exceeded one million, including 155,600 registered in shelters." Since September 23, Israel has been waging the "most violent and extensive" attack on Lebanon, which has resulted so far in the killing of in 1,073 fatalities, including children and women, and the injury of 2,955 others, according to data from the Lebanese authorities.
