The Border Forces Command announced today, Wednesday, the arrest of an accused in his possession of 22 bank cards filled with sums of money prepared for smuggling in Trebil, Anbar Governorate. The Command said in a statement, "In continuation of the efforts of the Border Forces Command to thwart attempts to smuggle currency, the detachments of the Trebil Customs Police Station, affiliated with the Second Region Customs Police Directorate, arrested an accused in his possession of 22 bank cards of various types prepared for smuggling." It added, "A formal seizure report was prepared and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
