RAMALLAH: The Arab League Council today condemned the large-scale attacks lunched by colonist militias on several villages and towns in the occupied West Bank, with the protection of Israeli army. Spokesman for the League's Secretary-General, Jamal Rushdi, said that the war crimes committed by the occupation on a daily basis in Gaza should not cover up what the West Bank is witnessing. "The imposition of sanctions by some countries on a number of colonists represents a small, late step that is insufficient to halt such attacks," he affirmed. Rushdi called for the Security Council to put an end to this shameful situation as well as to held colonists full accountable for their crimes against Palestinian and their proprieties in the West Bank. Since last Friday, Israeli colonist militias, with the protection of Israeli forces, have launched a wave of terror attack against Palestinians and their proprieties. These attacks have resulted in the killing of civilians, injuries to dozens, and the burning of dozen s of homes and vehicles. The 17-year-old Omar Hamed, who was killed by colonist gunfire in the village of Beitin. Another terror attack was lunched by the gun-toting colonists on Al-Mughayir village, which resulted in the killing of Jihad Afif Sidqi Abu Alia, 25. During Friday's rampage, settlers set fire to more than 40 Palestinian facilities and 50 vehicles in al-Mughayyir, causing nearby agricultural lands to catch fire as well.
