Baghdad, The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region announced today, Tuesday, the deposit of approximately 500 billion dinars in its bank account by the federal government to pay the salaries of civil servants for the month of last June. The ministry stated in a statement, "A sum of money amounting to 421 billion and 760 million dinars was deposited in its bank account." The statement explained, "This amount is part of the June salaries of civil servants in the Kurdistan region." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
