Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa discussed, in a phone call on Monday with Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib, developments in Palestine, the escalation in the region, the need to stop the war of extermination against the Palestinian people and to enhance relief efforts and provide urgent humanitarian needs for the Gaza Strip. The Palestinian Prime Minister stressed, during the call, that ending the occupation and achieving an independent Palestinian state is the shortest and most effective way to achieve peace in the region.
