The Anti-Crime Directorate detachments arrested a wanted suspect for murder and three others for forgery in Baghdad. The Directorate stated in a statement: The detachments of the Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate / Al-Habibiya Office for Combating Crime arrested an accused for committing a murder within the area of responsibility, where his statements were recorded with a confession initially and judicially, and the investigating judge decided to detain him in accordance with the provisions of Article 406 of the Penal Code. It added that the anti-crime squads executed arrest warrants against a number of defendants for stealing sums of money, residential homes, commercial stores, and stealing motorcycles, including three others for forgery within the Kadhimiya Anti-Crime Office, where legal measures were taken against the arrested defendants and they were brought to justice to receive their just punishment according to the law.
