The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency arrested an Arab national who was promoting the terrorist ISIS gangs and the former regime through social media in Baghdad. The agency stated in a statement that the Intelligence Agency detachments (Federal Police Intelligence Directorate) in Baghdad monitored information indicating the presence of an Arab national who was promoting the terrorist ISIS gangs and glorifying the former regime by publishing video clips on social media, and immediately a joint working team was formed with the leadership of the Federal Police Forces and other security services to reach the location of the accused and arrest him after obtaining the necessary judicial approvals. It explained that when he was investigated, he explicitly confessed to carrying out these promotional activities for terrorist motives, and the accused was handed over to the competent investigative authorities to receive his just punishment.
