Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani today, Saturday, congratulated British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on the occasion of his assuming office and forming the new British government. In a telegram he sent to Starmer, Al-Sudani expressed his aspiration for the continuation of bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom and the expansion of their horizons, in accordance with the approach of productive partnership and strengthening ties at various levels, and for further development and prosperity, for the benefit of the two friendly peoples. Al-Sudani also expressed his wishes for the new British government to succeed in its mission, to move towards progress and achieve its goals, and to support international peace and stability.
