Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari directed a specialized investigation team to find out the circumstances of the injury of 19 members of the Dhi Qar Police Command. The Ministry stated in a statement: "One of them was seriously injured and 4 citizens were injured during the demonstrations that worked to close the Dhi Qar Oil and Petroleum Products Company and the Dhi Qar Gas Plant.
