Jerusalem - Together - Al-Quds University and Bard College - New York concluded an agreement to establish a model school that adopts the pre-university education system, as the President of Al-Quds University, Prof. Dr. Imad Abu Kishk represented it, and on behalf of Bard College, its president, Professor Leon Botstein. The agreement includes the establishment of the first Palestinian model school based on the Pre-College system, which is based on preparing and qualifying students in the English language and a variety of knowledge and skills during their school studies, and accrediting these hours when students join Al-Quds Bard College and American universities. This agreement will result in the establishment of the school in an area Abu Dis, based on the American SAT system. The Pre-College system gives students the opportunity to reduce the period of undergraduate study to two years instead of four years, according to the model used at Bard College in America. It is noteworthy that Bard College, New Yor k, recently awarded a Ph.D. Abu Kishk received an honorary doctorate in humane letters, in recognition of the long-standing partnership that brought together the two institutions over 15 years through Al-Quds Bard College, which is the title of this unique and first partnership in the region.
