Al-Hakim stresses the need to decide on choosing a new speaker for Parliament

The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, praised the role of the House of Representatives in approving the budget schedules, while stressing the necessity of resolving the issue of choosing a new speaker for the House of Representatives. Al-Hakim said in a statement today, Saturday, 'The developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region and the role of the House of Representatives in the next stage were the most prominent files that we discussed with the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi.' During the meeting, he stressed "the necessity of approving important laws and resolving the issue of choosing a new speaker for the House of Representatives." He added, "We stressed the importance of unifying and doubling efforts in order to preserve the stability achieved and transform it into permanent stability," praising "the role of the Presidency of the House of Representatives and the PMs in approving the budget schedules, and we renewed our vision for t his approval that it comes with confidence and harmony with the government's directions in construction, reconstruction, and development.
