GAZA: The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) today announced that Al-Amal Hospital in the city of Khan Yunis has returned to operate only partially. PRCS said in a brief statement that work in the hospital is limited to the reception and emergency departments only, while it is impossible to operate the rest of the departments due to severe damage following the Israeli military incursion into its facilities. The Red Crescent Society announced that Al-Amal Hospital had been out of service and had stopped working completely, after the occupation forces forced the hospital crews and the wounded to evacuate it and closed its entrances with dirt barriers on March 26. According to the Ministry of Health, 12 hospitals in the Gaza Strip are currently operating only partially, with six in the north and six others in the south.
