Air Arabia resumes its flights from Sharjah International Airport to the city of Basra

Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost airline in the Middle East and North Africa region, announced yesterday the resumption of its flights from Sharjah International Airport to the city of Basra in Iraq, at a rate of four flights per week. Once the Air Arabia plane arrived at Basra International Airport, the flight was received with a traditional water hose, and then a reception ceremony was held, in the presence of representatives of Air Arabia and Basra International Airport. Adel Al Ali, CEO of Air Arabia Group, said that the resumption of direct Air Arabia flights to Basra represents an important milestone within the framework of the commitment to providing affordable travel options in the region, noting that this service provides customers with the opportunity to travel directly between the two cities and benefit from services. The added value provided by the carrier, as well as its contribution to strengthening strong tourism and trade relations between the two countries. The city of Basra is t he company's fourth destination in Iraq, along with Baghdad, Najaf, and Erbil. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
