The Office of Agriculture and Irrigation in Sana'a Governorate received on Wednesday the project of the initiative to reclaim agricultural land in Wadi Meleh in Nehm district. During the handover, the governorate's advisor, Abdullah Al-Marwani, stressed the importance of the project, which comes within the framework of agricultural projects adopted by the local authority in the governorate in coordination with the Higher Agricultural and Fisheries Committee to bring about an agricultural renaissance in the governorate. He praised the efforts of the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit, the Agriculture and Irrigation Office in the governorate and the Northern Sector Association in implementing the project, within the specified time period and according to studies, noting the role of the community and its active participation in bringing about a real agricultural renaissance in the directorate. Ali Al-Qairi, pointed out that the project , which is estimated at an area of more than 30 hectares, costs 12 million riyals, of which 71% is funded by the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the governorate and 29% is a community contribution.
