Agricultural policies strategy in Sana’a reviewed

An expanded meeting was held in Sana'a, chaired by Supreme Political Council member Mohammed al-Nuaimi, discussed the work progress of the team preparing strategic frameworks for agricultural policies. Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of the public policy review project in order to contribute to achieving an agricultural renaissance, pointing out that current public policies lack consistency and are subject to personal concepts and judgments. He also stressed the need to review public policies to meet modern requirements in this sector, indicating that public policies form the basis for managing the process of advancement and development, and are the basic pillar of the national vision. Al-Nuaimi pointed out that work is underway to establish a unified path to review and formulate strategic frameworks for agricultural public policies aiming at achieving self-sufficiency and promoting agricultural renaissance. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Dr. Radwan al-Rubai confirmed that the basic found ations of reviewing the strategy of the national framework for agricultural policies stem from the directives of revolution leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. The directives came to achieve agricultural independence and effective land management and to begin work on developing a national framework for agricultural policies in the country.
