Baghdad Operations Command announced the arrest of a gang trafficking in human organs. The command stated in a statement that "in light of intelligence information and the cooperation of a citizen, with news of the presence of a gang trafficking in human organs and drug abuse, within Al-Shaab area, a working team was immediately formed from the Fifth Federal Police Division, with the support of agencies and intelligence services, and after analyzing the information and obtaining judicial approvals, and with a tight ambush, the gang was arrested red-handed, and they were referred to the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 18 of the Iraqi Penal Code to receive their just punishment.
