Hebron - Ma'an - A delegation representing the Ghaith family held a meeting yesterday evening, with the Commander of the Hebron region, Commodore Hazem Abu Hanoud, in the presence of a number of officers of the region's command. The family representatives stressed that they stand united with the security men and the rule of law over all components of the Palestinian people. The leadership meeting of the Fatah movement and the head of the Presidential Committee for Civil Peace, Lavi Ghaith, spoke during the meeting, in addition to Maher Hassan Ghaith, Fathi Bakir Ghaith, Khaled Shafiq Ghaith, and Ishaq Abd Talab Ghaith. They spoke about the importance of the rule of law, establishing order in the street, and eliminating all negative phenomena that disturb the life of Palestinian society, stressing that the Ghaith family, like other families, rejects violence, and is committed to the decision to lift the tribal cover for outlaws and those wanted by justice. During their speech, they also emphasized the impor tant role played by security personnel, in light of the difficult circumstances facing the Palestinian governorates due to the Israeli occupation and its practices aimed at destabilizing security and stability, and praised the efforts made by the political and security leadership to maintain the security and safety of citizens. For his part, the commander of the Hebron region thanked the Ghaith family delegation for this visit, which confirms the family's keenness to maintain civil peace and prevent the disintegration of the societal fabric. He promised to study the requests submitted by the Ghaith family, with the relevant authorities, and work to resolve them in accordance with the law and order. Source: Maan News Agency
