RAMALLAH: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today called for an international humanitarian stance through a binding resolution in the Security Council to force the Israeli occupation for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The Ministry further called for the need to ensure the protection of civilians and the entry of aid to the Gaza in a sustainable manner. The Foreign Ministry said, in a statement, that Netanyahu once again admits that he is waging a diplomatic battle with the world to obtain more time in order to achieve the goals of the aggression, and continues to issue threats to invade the city of Rafah, without presenting a realistic plan to protect civilians and secure their basic humanitarian needs. "The greatest goal of Netanyahu revolves around prolonging the aggression in order to remain in power, and to escape from the questions of the next day," the ministry added. The Ministry further pointed out that Netanyahu kidnaps more than two million Palestinians, including their children and women, and uses their lives and souls as "a bargaining chip and political blackmail."
