The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced today that the Israeli airstrikes across various regions of the country on Saturday, October 12, resulted in 51 fatalities and 174 injuries. In a statement, the Ministry revealed that the total number of casualties resulting from Israeli attacks on the country since October 8, 2023, has reached 2,306 fatalities and 10,698 people injured. Lebanon is experiencing an unprecedented escalation of air and artillery strikes by the Israeli occupation forces, impacting residential neighborhoods. According to medical reports, many of the injured are suffering from critical conditions, exacerbated by a severe shortage of medical supplies in hospitals, which are operating at full capacity to accommodate the influx of casualties. The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health called on the international community to intervene immediately to halt the Israeli attacks and provide essential aid to the injured and displaced individuals.
