Tens of thousands performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the occupation authorities continued to impose restrictions on the entry of worshipers into it. The number of worshipers in Al-Aqsa was estimated at approximately 30,000 worshippers. The occupation police deployed its checkpoints on the roads leading to Al-Aqsa, and its members were stationed at the gates of the Old City and Al-Aqsa. The forces arrested those arriving to Al-Aqsa, especially young men, and subjected them to inspection. They also prevented some from entering Al-Aqsa without any reason. On the Mujahideen Road between Bab al-Asbat and Hattah, those deported and prohibited from entering Al-Aqsa performed prayers in the place.
