The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Thursday, the arrest of 19 violators of foreign nationalities in the holy Karbala Governorate. The ministry said in a statement: "Within the security efforts during the Arbaeen million-person visit in the holy Karbala, the detachments of the Arab and International Police Department in the Karbala Police Command, in cooperation with the security services represented by the Tourism Security Department, Intelligence and National Security, the Iraqi National Intelligence Service and the Residence Department, were able to detain 19 violators of foreign nationalities for violating the residency conditions, and they were all referred to the Deportation Division in order to complete the necessary legal procedures against them. The statement added: "This outcome came after implementing an extensive campaign inside hotels, restaurants and companies in the holy city of Karbala to follow up on foreign workers and expatriates in preparation for the Arbaeen million-person visit.
