Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a 16-year-old girl on Tuesday during a raid of a village near Jenin in the north of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said. The girl, Lujain Musleh, was struck by a bullet in the village of Kufr Dan, west of Jenin, where soldiers staged a dawn raid, encircled a house and ordered residents to evacuate it, said the Red Crescent, adding that ambulance crews managed to transfer the dead body to hospital after the army barred access to the scene of the shooting. The latest fatality raised to 32 the death toll from stepped military operations across the northern West Bank, which began on Wednesday, including 19 in Jenin, 6 in Tulkarem, and 4 in Tubas, as well as 3 in Hebron in the southern West Bank. That took to 683 the total number of deaths by army fire in the West Bank since the war on the Gaza Strip began on October 7, according to medical sources. Source: Jordan News Agency
