The General Authority for Zakat in Ibb province has launched a project to distribute food kits to the poorest families in the province. Director of the Zakat Authority office in Ibb Majed al-Tineh said the project targets 3,000 poorest families, orphans, widows, the disabled, and people with special needs, at a cost of 60 million Y.R. Al-Tineh pointed out that the distribution of kits is part of Ramadan charity projects for the year 1445 AH implemented by the Authority. He called on the taxpayers and the donors to pay their Zakat in order to spend it on those who deserve it. Source: Yemen News Agency
