The office of the Zakat Authority in Taiz Governorate, and its branch in Maqbanah district, continues for the fifth consecutive day to provide emergency financial assistance to those affected by the floods in the district. The director of the Zakat Authority in the governorate, Shawqi Mughlas, and some officials were briefed on the damage caused to citizens in the district of Akhdou below the village of Al-Jabalin and the village of Al-Gharaq. The visitors provided financial assistance from the Zakat Authority to 91 affected families, according to the varying damage suffered. The citizens expressed gratitude to the Zakat Authority and its staff for their efforts since the flood disaster and the damage caused to them, their homes, and their properties.
