Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mohammed al-Muwalad met on Sunday with leaders of sports clubs in the capital Sana'a. Al-Muwalad discussed with the leaders of the clubs the role their role in youth engagement and community service. They also reviewed the importance of clubs in fostering awareness and combating negative cultural and media influences. The Minister highlighted the role of clubs in commemorating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through organizing cultural programs, sports leagues, and charity events. He also encouraged clubs to assist in relief efforts for areas affected by recent rain and floods. Al-Muwalid stressed that sports clubs are vital for nurturing youth and providing a safe environment for their development. He urged the club leaders to actively participate in Prophet's birthday celebrations and support flood relief initiatives. The club leaders expressed their gratitude for the Minister's engagement and affirmed their commitment to celebrating the Prophet' s birthday in a manner that honors the occasion.
