Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mohammed al-Muwalad, along with his deputy Nabeeh Abu Shusaa, conducted an inspection of the 22nd May Club located in Sa'awan neighborhood, Shu'ub district in the capital Sana'a. The visit was part of ongoing assessments of sports facilities across the capital. Accompanied by Ali Hadban, Undersecretary of the Sports Sector, and Abdullah Obaid, Director of the Youth Office in the Capital, the officials evaluated the club's facilities and reviewed the damage inflicted by aggression that directly impacted the club. During the visit, the Minister and his deputy received a briefing from Yahya al-Houthi, Chairman of the Steering Committee, and other committee members. They discussed the club's current conditions, ongoing activities, and challenges faced, along with proposed solutions for addressing these difficulties. Minister al-Muwalad commended the Steering Committee's efforts, encouraging them to enhance their work to overcome obstacles and fulfill their objectives. The mi nister emphasized the ministry's commitment to stabilizing the club's situation, aiming to boost performance and service levels to meet the expectations of players and fans. The Minister highlighted the crucial role of sports clubs in nurturing youth, fostering values, and channeling their energies and creativity towards community and national development. Al-Houthi provided an overview of the club's infrastructure, activities, and the committee's initiatives to revitalize sports, cultural, and social programs.
