Amman: Jordan's national youth golf team has made significant strides in the sport, clinching three gold medals and one silver medal at the Egypt International Championship held at Palm Hills in Sixth of October City, Egypt. Competing against more than 60 players from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Germany, New Zealand, and Jordan, the Jordanian contingent showcased outstanding performances. Mohammad Al Rawashdeh (16), Salem Al Abdallat (13), and Lillian Mujahid (13) secured gold medals, while Taj Akroush (10) earned a silver medal. Other team members, including Abdul Rahman Zaher, Adam Al Saud, Mi'ar Al Shumli, and Lamarr Al Shumli, also demonstrated commendable performances despite it being their debut in international tournaments. Speaking on the achievement, delegation head Amjad Akka expressed pride in the young players' performance, highlighting Jordan's diverse participation as a major factor contributing to the success of golf promotion by the union.
