Sana'a - Saba : The Yemeni Media Union ( YMU) condemned the Israeli enemy's targeting of Al-Sirat religious and cultural channel building in Lebanon with a direct aerial bombardment. In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Union emphasized that the systematic targeting of civilian neighborhoods and objects, including the buildings of media institutions, is a war crime and a violation of all international conventions and laws that emphasize freedom of opinion , expression , the media professionals protection , media institutions during conflicts , wars, and consider their targeting as war crimes that are not subject to a statute of limitations. The statement called on all international actors concerned with freedom of opinion and expression, human rights and legal professionals to condemn the crime against Al-Sarat TV, condemn all inhumane crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against civilians in Palestine , Lebanon, put pressure on the Security , Human Rights Coun cils to list the Israeli enemy as a perpetrator of war crimes and try it through international courts in accordance with international conventions and laws. It called on all media and journalistic institutions , free Arab and international human rights organizations to expose the crimes and violations committed by the Israeli enemy against the media, journalists , civilians in Palestine and Lebanon.
