The rally, led by Dr. Yahya al-Mutawakel, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and other university officials, saw participants-staff, students, and faculty-raise Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chant slogans against American and Zionist policies. They condemned the ongoing genocide and massacres in Gaza, which have resulted in significant civilian casualties amid international inaction and alleged Arab complicity. A statement from the rally labeled the violence in Gaza as "the crime of the century" and criticized neighboring Arab nations for their perceived support of the enemy. Participants praised the resilience of the Palestinian people and their resistance fighters, calling for continued support through military, official, and popular actions. The statement also highlighted global s tudent movements supporting Palestine and urged Arab and Islamic nations to take action against Israeli aggression, including enforcing a comprehensive economic boycott. Additionally, the rally celebrated recent military achievements by the Yemeni armed forces and reaffirmed support for the Revolution Leader's stance against the Saudi regime's involvement in regional conflicts.
