The Yemeni University in Sana'a hosted on Wednesday a significant stand to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and denounce the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas. Attendees raised Yemeni and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans condemning the recent violence in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, and the assassination of Haniyeh. The gathering criticized the ongoing Zionist aggression in Gaza, which has lasted for 299 days, condemning the global community's inaction and the complicity of American and Western support. A statement from the stand, titled "In Victory for Gaza, We Proceed with the Fifth Stage of Escalation," emphasized the continuation of resistance efforts against the Zionist entity and pledged support for the Palestinian struggle. The statement condemned the assassination of Haniyeh, reaffirming that such acts of violence would not weaken Yemeni support for Palestinian resistance but rather strengthen the resolve to combat what is described as Zionist ag gression. The Participants vowed to persist in their efforts through escalating military operations and public mobilization until victory is achieved for the Palestinian cause. Source: Yemen News Agency
